We are currently hiring for Server Engineer - Midway, TN - FTE Job description:

GENERAL PURPOSE:

The Senior Server & Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for administration, and ongoing optimization of the organizationโ€™s core server and infrastructure platforms. This role ensures the availability, performance, security, and recoverability of enterprise systems supporting critical business operations. The role also encompasses system lifecycle management, disaster recovery, and infrastructure security best practices. The Senior Server & Infrastructure Engineer works closely with information technology staff and business stakeholders to support production systems and continuously improve reliability and efficiency through standardization and operational excellence.

Infrastructure & Platform Operations
  • Administer, maintain, and optimize Windows and Linux server environments (physical, virtual, and cloud-hosted).
  • Design and operate highly available virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper?V, or equivalent).
  • Manage enterprise storage platforms including SAN, NAS, and cloud storage solutions.
  • Perform capacity planning, lifecycle management, patching, and performance tuning across platforms.
Cloud & Hybrid Services
  • Administer Microsoft cloud technologies including Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
Security, Resilience & Compliance
  • Support security best practices, including identity protection, least-privilege access, logging, and monitoring.
  • Design and test backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies.
  • Work with information technology team members to remediate vulnerabilities and support audits.
Collaboration & Project Leadership
  • Support infrastructure-related projects, including system design, evaluation, and implementation.
  • Work closely with application, networking, security, and end-user support teams to ensure seamless integration.
  • Support production systems, manufacturing, and operational platforms.
  • Participate in after-hours support for critical outages, maintenance, and upgrades.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES AND JOB INFORMATION:

The Information Technology Department operates as a service-driven team dedicated to supporting the IT infrastructure and the users across. Associates in this department must demonstrate both technical expertise and strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively and professionally. A proactive, hands-on approach is essential, as is working alongside others to meet user's needs. This position must be engaged and involved in supporting the company after hours, such as production down, shipment impacting issues; upgrades and maintenance as assigned.

Minimum Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in server, virtualization, or infrastructure engineering roles.
  • Strong experience administering Windows and Linux server environments.
  • Experience managing enterprise storage solutions (SAN/NAS).
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 administration.
  • Experience with backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability architectures.
  • Working knowledge of infrastructure security principles and best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to document standards and procedures.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management tools.
  • Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting platforms.
  • IT-related certifications or coursework (Microsoft, CompTIA, or equivalent).
  • Manufacturing environment experience.
Work Expectations
