Work Environment

In this remote position, you will work primarily from your home, with occasional visits to our detox center in Naperville, Illinois, as necessary. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ mental health status, including emotional, behavioral, and social functioning, to inform treatment planning.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans grounded in evidence-based practices, regularly adjusting them based on patient responses.
• Provide therapeutic interventions, such as psychotherapy and counseling, tailored to address various mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, and PTSD.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate a comprehensive approach to patient care, ensuring that all aspects—including medical, psychological, and social needs—are addressed.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHRs) to document patient interactions, treatment progress, and outcomes in compliance with organizational and legal standards.
• Facilitate educational sessions for patients and their families to empower them with knowledge about mental health conditions and available community resources.
• Uphold ethical and professional standards including maintaining patient confidentiality and securing informed consent.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses on individuals undergoing detoxification and treatment for substance abuse and related mental health disorders. Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, coupled with current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Illinois.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in providing psychotherapy and mental health services, specifically in a clinical, therapeutic, or detoxification environment.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to foster relationships with patients and collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary health care team.
• Proven clinical skills in assessing mental health conditions and crafting effective, evidence-based interventions.
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency in utilizing technology for patient management and coordination efforts.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of 2 years of experience is required, candidates with additional experience in addiction recovery, crisis intervention, or community mental health will be given preference. Familiarity with trauma-informed care and culturally competent practices is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
