Position Overview

Best Care Health Solutions is seeking a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team on a full-time basis. This position offers the flexibility of working remotely while providing critical mental health services to individuals in a detox center setting. The ideal candidate will possess a deep commitment to improving the mental health and well-being of patients, alongside a solid foundation in clinical practice.

About the Organization

Best Care Health Solutions is a leading provider of comprehensive mental health services, focusing on recovery and rehabilitation for individuals dealing with addiction and mental health disorders. Our mission is to empower patients to achieve their fullest potential through innovative treatment strategies, compassionate care, and a commitment to excellence. As part of our team, you will contribute to a supportive and forward-thinking environment dedicated to fostering mental health awareness and recovery.

Work Environment

In this remote position, you will work primarily from your home, with occasional visits to our detox center in Naperville, Illinois, as necessary. You will interact with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists, all working collaboratively to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care. Our virtual platform ensures that you remain connected with your colleagues and patients, leveraging advanced technologies to enhance therapeutic interactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patientsโ€™ mental health status, including emotional, behavioral, and social functioning, to inform treatment planning.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans grounded in evidence-based practices, regularly adjusting them based on patient responses.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions, such as psychotherapy and counseling, tailored to address various mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, and PTSD.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate a comprehensive approach to patient care, ensuring that all aspectsโ€”including medical, psychological, and social needsโ€”are addressed.
  • Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHRs) to document patient interactions, treatment progress, and outcomes in compliance with organizational and legal standards.
  • Facilitate educational sessions for patients and their families to empower them with knowledge about mental health conditions and available community resources.
  • Uphold ethical and professional standards including maintaining patient confidentiality and securing informed consent.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role focuses on individuals undergoing detoxification and treatment for substance abuse and related mental health disorders. You will work closely with patients who face significant psychological and emotional challenges, contributing to their recovery journey through personalized support and clinical expertise. Your compassionate approach will be crucial in establishing trust and promoting patient engagement in their treatment.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, coupled with current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Illinois.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in providing psychotherapy and mental health services, specifically in a clinical, therapeutic, or detoxification environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to foster relationships with patients and collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary health care team.
  • Proven clinical skills in assessing mental health conditions and crafting effective, evidence-based interventions.
  • Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency in utilizing technology for patient management and coordination efforts.
  • A strong knowledge of mental health diagnoses and treatment modalities, as well as an understanding of the challenges faced by vulnerable populations in recovery.
  • A commitment to adhering to ethical standards of practice, including patient confidentiality and informed consent protocols.
Preferred Experience

While a minimum of 2 years of experience is required, candidates with additional experience in addiction recovery, crisis intervention, or community mental health will be given preference. Familiarity with trauma-informed care and culturally competent practices is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to a robust salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage, short-term and long-term disability insurance, a 401(k) plan with generous company matching, and options for flex spending. Our commitment to employee wellness is demonstrated through programs like certification license reimbursement and a refer-a-friend bonus initiative.

Career Growth Opportunities

At Best Care Health Solutions, we prioritize professional development and career advancement. Employees are encouraged to pursue additional certifications, attend relevant workshops, and engage in ongoing training. The organization actively supports career progression by offering mentorship programs and pathways to leadership roles within our expanding network.
