Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify clients' mental health issues, tailoring your approach based on their individual needs and the complexity of their situations.
• Deliver one-on-one counseling sessions addressing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, and other clinical concerns, employing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based strategies.
• Facilitate couples and family therapy, guiding them through relationship challenges, improving communication skills, and resolving family conflicts with empathy and professional insight.
• Create personalized treatment plans collaboratively with clients, setting measurable goals and implementing appropriate interventions that enrich their therapeutic experience.
• Provide timely crisis intervention, equipping clients with immediate coping mechanisms and strategies during critical times.
• Educate clients and their families about various mental health issues, promoting awareness and providing resources that empower them to seek additional support if necessary.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical standards in documentation, from initial assessments to ongoing progress notes and outcome evaluations.
• Adhere strictly to ethical guidelines and legal requirements, fostering a safe therapeutic environment through informed consent and maintaining client confidentiality at all times.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your caseload will encompass a diverse array of clients, including individuals seeking help for emotional distress, couples navigating relationship dynamics, and families encountering systemic issues. Each client is treated with respect and understanding, ensuring a culturally sensitive approach that embraces their unique backgrounds and experiences.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution is required.
• Must possess state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
• Proven clinical experience with proficiency in delivering effective counseling services to diverse populations.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and build a therapeutic relationship with clients, characterized by empathy and respect.
• Strong ethical standards and professional conduct, ensuring all client interactions are handled with the utmost confidentiality and integrity.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development, including staying updated on new therapeutic techniques and best practices.

Preferred Experience

• Background in community mental health settings or experience working with underserved populations can also be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $75,000 to $95,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to salary, our benefits package includes:
