What is a remote information security compliance analyst?

A Remote Information Security Compliance Analyst is a professional responsible for ensuring that an organization's information security policies and practices comply with industry regulations and standards while working remotely. They assess security controls, conduct audits, and prepare compliance documentation to mitigate risks and protect sensitive data. These analysts often work with frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA, or GDPR, depending on the organization's needs. Their role is critical in maintaining the company's reputation and avoiding legal or financial penalties due to non-compliance.
