Job Description
Candidates residing in the following states will be considered for remote employment: Alabama, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, Nebraska, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Texas, Utah, and Virginia. Remote work will not be permitted from any other state at this time.
The purpose of the Collaboration Engineer III is to provide a wide range of collaboration support for Mosaic Life Care. This includes the design, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of all collaboration platforms within the environment with the support of the Systems team. This individual will be responsible for ensuring best practices are documented and adhered to in a regional healthcare system.The expectations for this position are:
  • Act as the primary SME for collaboration technologies, with an emphasis on Microsoft Office 365. This role will function as an enabler across the company
  • Advise leadership on best practices for the implementation, design, best practices and utilization of collaboration technologies
  • Participate in developing the strategy, design and implementation efforts to enable services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, etc.
  • Analyze and review existing implementation of collaboration technologies within the environment and provide recommendations for improvements
  • Author documentation related to the implementation of collaborative technologies
  • Ability to work proactively with 3rd party vendors to resolve intermediate technology issues.
  • Experience in the IT systems strategy, standards, processes and technology.
  • Able to review and consult on IT technology solutions to resolve intermediate technical and business issues.
  • Experience in Microsoft Windows Server environments, Active Directory architecture, M365 suite, Cloud strategy, and Datacenter maintenance
  • Understand Mosaic's technology stack to identify points of weakness and opportunities for optimizing solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Supports IT system engineering initiatives including but not limited to design, build, configure, maintain, and optimize critical infrastructure including but not limited to Active Directory, M365, Public Cloud and on premises Datacenter systems.
  • Support the development of processes, standard operating procedures, playbooks and runbooks for IT Systems Solutions.
  • Designs, develops, configures, and implements solutions to resolve intermediate technical and business issues related to IT infrastructure.
  • Assists in design, development, and implementation to integrate new solutions within the existing architecture.
  • Maintains knowledge of IT hardware and software products that comply with current industry standards. Maintains knowledge of technology-related state and federal regulations.
  • Responsible for trouble shooting IT system issues and the development of custom scripting, securing systems, and configuring platforms to enhance IT system operations.
  • Leverages IT operational metrics and reporting to analyze performance indicators to ensure IT systems are operating efficiently
  • Participate in root cause analysis to determine improvement strategies when system failures occur.
  • Participates in continual service improvement efforts by identifying opportunities for process improvements.
  • Drive and participate in the reduction of enterprise and organizational cybersecurity risk.
  • Other duties as assigned

Education
  • H.S. Diploma - High school diploma or GED equivalent - Required
  • Bachelor's Degree - Computer Science or other related area or equivalent background and experience - Preferred
  • Vendor training in software and hardware products - Preferred

Work Experience
  • 5 Years - Experienced in M365, MS Exchange Online, Active Directory and other Microsoft platforms. - Required
  • 4 Years - Experienced IT engineer requirements would consist of having job related experience; training in IT infrastructure concepts; technical certificates. - Required
  • 3 Years - Experience with MS SharePoint; experience with Microsoft 365 tenant administration. - Preferred

Licenses and Certifications
  • COMPTIA Security+, A+, Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals, Microsoft 365 Certified: Collaboration Communications Systems Engineer Associate, Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert, AZ-900, MS-900 - Preferred Upon Hire

  • Must be able to accurately code parameters for the installation, modification and implementation of computer system tables and configure accurately data communications software and hardware.
  • Be able to conduct a technical conversation over the telephone with vendor technical support personnel.

  • Ability to give technical guidance over the telephone.

  • Must be able to read and comprehend a variety of computer software and hardware documentation.

Essential Sensory Requirements
  • Must be able to read and comprehend technical manuals.
  • See indicator lights or digital displays on communication devices.
  • Ability to see displayed information on computer terminals and personal computers.
  • Must have the ability to hear a telephone conversation when responding to a computer problem, giving technical guidance, or talking to software or hardware vendors.
