• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to identify mental health concerns, individual strengths, and specific treatment needs of incarcerated individuals.
• Provide tailored individual and group therapy sessions, addressing complex issues such as substance abuse, trauma, anger management, and reentry planning.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans using evidence-based therapeutic modalities designed to meet the unique needs of each participant.
• Facilitate therapeutic group activities focusing on key topics such as relapse prevention, anger management strategies, and essential life skills to promote positive behavioral changes.
• Collaborate effectively with other mental health professionals and correctional staff to formulate and execute individualized treatment strategies.
• Deliver crisis intervention services, perform risk assessments, and create safety plans that ensure a secure environment for all individuals in care.
• Uphold ethical and legal documentation standards by maintaining accurate and confidential records of client interactions and treatment outcomes.
• Engage where necessary with correctional staff to cultivate a constructive and secure environment that supports the therapeutic process.

This position primarily serves incarcerated individuals who are navigating a range of mental health challenges, including, but not limited to, depression, anxiety, substance use disorders, and trauma-related issues. • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.
• Comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and trauma-informed caregiving principles.
• Excellent assessment, crisis intervention, and boundary-setting capabilities are essential for effective client management.

• At least two years of experience working in correctional or forensic mental health settings.
• Proven background in implementing therapeutic interventions and crisis management in a structured environment.
