This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to provide essential mental health services to a diverse population, with a primary focus on the rehabilitation of individuals within the correctional system.

About the Organization

At Gotham Enterprises Ltd, we are dedicated to addressing the complex mental health needs of incarcerated individuals through evidence-based practices. Our mission is to promote rehabilitation and reintegration by focusing on psychological wellness, crisis intervention, and psychosocial support. Our multidisciplinary team of licensed professionals is committed to improving the mental health landscape within correctional facilities, shaping lives through therapeutic methodologies, and significantly reducing recidivism.

This position operates in a fully remote setting, allowing for flexibility and the capacity to make a meaningful impact from the comfort of your own home. Although the role is remote, it encompasses critical responsibilities within the correctional environment, where collaboration with correctional staff and integration of mental health services are key to fostering a safe and supportive atmosphere for inmates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to identify mental health concerns, individual strengths, and specific treatment needs of incarcerated individuals.
  • Provide tailored individual and group therapy sessions, addressing complex issues such as substance abuse, trauma, anger management, and reentry planning.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans using evidence-based therapeutic modalities designed to meet the unique needs of each participant.

  • Collaborate effectively with other mental health professionals and correctional staff to formulate and execute individualized treatment strategies.
  • Deliver crisis intervention services, perform risk assessments, and create safety plans that ensure a secure environment for all individuals in care.
  • Uphold ethical and legal documentation standards by maintaining accurate and confidential records of client interactions and treatment outcomes.
  • Engage where necessary with correctional staff to cultivate a constructive and secure environment that supports the therapeutic process.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This position primarily serves incarcerated individuals who are navigating a range of mental health challenges, including, but not limited to, depression, anxiety, substance use disorders, and trauma-related issues. Our holistic approach fosters personal growth and prepares clients for successful reintegration into society, addressing not only their immediate mental health needs but also their long-term rehabilitative goals.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
  • Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory.
  • Comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and trauma-informed caregiving principles.
  • Excellent assessment, crisis intervention, and boundary-setting capabilities are essential for effective client management.
Preferred Experience
  • At least two years of experience working in correctional or forensic mental health settings.
  • Proven background in implementing therapeutic interventions and crisis management in a structured environment.
Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this role ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, reflecting experience and licensure status. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:

  • Health insurance options covering medical, dental, and vision.
  • Retirement savings plans with Employer contributions to support your financial future.

  • Continuous opportunities for professional development and career progression within our innovative organization.
  • Sign-on bonus for qualified candidates to support your transition.
