Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose and evaluate patients' mental health status, employing tools such as the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to initiate therapeutic interventions, continually monitoring and adjusting care plans based on patient progress and evolving needs.
• Document treatment progress and maintain accurate clinical records leveraging current technology and adhering to regulatory protocols.
• Collaborate closely with patients and their families to formulate detailed treatment objectives that respect cultural diversity and address unique needs within our client population.
• Serve as a coordinator between patients and other treatment providers, ensuring seamless access to necessary referrals and support services.
• Provide mentorship and education to students, interns, and volunteers as part of our commitment to developing future mental health professionals.
• Engage in peer reviews and clinical collaboration, under supervisor guidance, to foster a learning environment and promote best practices among colleagues.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patient population primarily consists of individuals and families coping with cancer diagnoses, necessitating sensitivity and understanding regarding their unique emotional and psychological challenges. Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

Compensation and Benefits
