Position Summary

CVS Heath is growing and we are looking for a Medical Economics Manager. The person who fills this role will have exceptional communication skills, able to connect bridging data assets to business requirements and technical implementation. The ideal candidate brings experience in healthcare data or informatics and brings a collaborative approach with our many stakeholders across the organization.

What You'll Own

  • Support the execution of data governance activities as they relate to the Aetna Data Lakehouse assets on Google Cloud Platform. Activities will include domain ownership of Aetna claims data, data quality initiatives and best practices as well as managing the communication strategy out to our Finance colleagues.
  • Create and manage data quality reviews.
  • Work with stakeholders to create common definitions around financial enrichments with goal of business line parity.
  • Collaboration with DDAT Data Governance teams to align Enterprise goals and tooling with Aetna Lakehouse data assets.
  • Collaborate with Data Stewards to support Data Portal.
  • Offer expert knowledge and insight into Aetna data to DDAT partners and Aetna Finance partners.


Required Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of finance, informatics or relevant experience, ideally in analytical or operationallyfocused roles.
  • Subject matter expert with claims and membership data within Aetna Data Warehouse.
  • Advanced skills in SQL and Web-based query tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of claims data within source data from ACAS, HRP and QNXT adjudication platforms.
  • Experience with data quality, creating and managing materiality metrics.
  • Basic knowledge of financial systems and reporting, forecasting, financial modeling, and trend analysis.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$54,300.00 - $145,860.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
