As the Senior Manager of Platform Engineering, you will build and lead a team of skilled cloud and platform engineers to enhance and operate our multi-cloud environment using modern tools, techniques, and cloud-native services.

  • Technical Leadership: Provide vision and technical leadership to guide a team of engineers in designing, delivering, and supporting a robust set of APIs and back-end services. You will use the necessary architectural principles and implement modern, world-class, secure engineering practices that are scalable,highly available, andfault-tolerant. At times, you may need to roll up your sleeves to engage and remove obstacles. This also includes work breakdown, prioritization, and backlog management.

You will enable the successful adoption of solutions delivered by the team and contribute to organization-wide initiatives.

  • Knowledge of software engineering practices for the entire software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.

  • Experience mentoring engineers at various levels andsupportingtheir career growth.

  • An outcome-oriented approach using metrics and data to understanddevelopmentproductivity metrics (e.g., code churn, commit size, test coverage, etc.) to inform areas for continuous improvement.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with strongrelationship, collaboration, and organization skills.

Ideally, you will also have experience with:

  • Automation and scripting (GitHub Actions, Python, bash, PowerShell)

  • Containerized development (Docker).

  • Kubernetes.

  • Infrastructure automation tooling such as Terraform and Ansible.

  • AWS Cloud Services: API Gateway, EC2, EKS, Fargate, ECR, S3, Lambda, RDS, ALB, SQS, SNS, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Secrets Manager, VPC, Subnets, IAM, Security Groups, Transit gateways

  • Working within a highly regulated industry such as Financial Services or Healthcare.

Pay Range: $170,900.00 - $227,900.00 AnnuallyThis hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
