General Summary:


- The Financial Solutions Sales Specialist is responsible for achieving established sales goals in his/her assigned territory.


Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Achieve or surpass sales goals.
  2. Process all sales with appropriate paperwork and in a timely manner.
  3. Be a company ambassador and represent Edge One in a professional and positive manner.
  4. Develop and maintain knowledge of all solutions marketed by Edge One
  5. Develop strong relationships with potential prospects to determine and fill their specific needs with solutions provided by Edge One
  6. Negotiate investment terms with the prospective customer, maintaining corporate margin objectives.
  7. Gather information on every account in the assigned geographical territory and log the information into Edge One’s CRM system. Update information as needed.
  8. Continue to work with customers after the sale through fulfillment to ensure customer satisfaction and develop additional new business.
  9. Prepare strategic and specific plans in conjunction with the Financial Solutions Team Leader with the goal of increasing the amount and size of successes.
  10. Attend and work tradeshows as required by Edge One.
  11. Attend and or complete all training assigned by Edge One Management
  12. Develop new ways to market Edge One and the solutions we offer.
  13. Prepare expense reports and other various required non-sales related paperwork in a timely and professional manner.
  14. Assist with other Edge One projects as deemed appropriate by management.
  15. Adhere to the company accepted selling approaches (Counselor Selling, R3 and Value Selling)


Skills and Qualifications:

  1. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent, masters preferred.
  2. Certification of sales development classes is a plus.
  3. Working knowledge of banking practices and associated technologies a huge plus.
  4. Experience with self-service and assisted self-service solutions for the banking industry highly desirable.
  5. Specific knowledge of the FI marketplace in the state in question also highly desirable.
