• Conduct thorough intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine clients' specific needs and treatment options.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy strategies that include evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused approaches.
• Engage in continuous assessment and adaptation of treatment plans as clients progress, ensuring interventions remain effective and context-sensitive.
• Maintain accurate and organized clinical documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards, utilizing EMR software and related technologies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams through regular case discussions and meetings to align treatment goals and share insights that enhance client outcomes.
• Participate actively in professional development workshops and training sessions to keep abreast of advancements in the mental health field.

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of clients seeking support for various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use concerns. • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Virginia.
• A minimum of three years of experience in providing counseling services, preferably within a clinical context.
• A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards governing counseling practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to connect with a diverse client population.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team, contributing effectively to shared objectives.
• Proficiency in utilizing EMR systems and contemporary communication technologies.

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma recovery, or substance misuse counseling is highly preferred.
• Experience working within a remote setting and familiarity with virtual therapy platforms can enhance your effectiveness in this role.
