Medina Behavioral Health Center is seeking compassionate and driven Licensed Mental Health Counselors to join our dedicated team. Work Environment

This role is entirely remote, providing you with the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home while contributing to our mission remotely. With a designated work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, there may be some adjustments necessary based on the unique and fluctuating needs of our patients. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed mental health assessments to ascertain the specific needs and challenges of clients, guiding the development of tailored treatment strategies.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventionsโ€”such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapyโ€”within individual, couples, and family therapy sessions.
  • Facilitate engaging psychoeducational groups aimed at demystifying mental health issues and fostering a supportive community among clients.
  • Work in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure each client receives coordinated and comprehensive care.
  • Provide crisis intervention support for clients in increasingly delicate situations, employing de-escalation techniques and rapid assessment skills.
  • Educate clients about their mental health conditions and available resources within the community as part of their treatment plan.
  • Maintain confidential and meticulous client documentation in accordance with legal and ethical requirements using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Participate actively in team meetings and case consultations, contributing insights to improve both client outcomes and service delivery.
  • Continuously update your knowledge of mental health advancements to integrate the latest understanding into your practice.
