This role is performed entirely in a remote telehealth setting, allowing for flexibility in work arrangements while maintaining a professional environment conducive to effective therapy sessions. • Conduct thorough mental health assessments, utilizing standardized tools and clinical interviews to identify patient needs and establish tailored treatment strategies.
• Implement a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused brief therapy, to assist individuals, couples, and families in navigating their mental health challenges.
• Facilitate psychoeducational support groups that address common issues like stress management and coping skills, fostering a sense of community among participants.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement holistic treatment plans, ensuring comprehensive patient care.
• Provide crisis intervention services as needed, responding effectively to mental health emergencies and helping stabilize patients in acute distress.
• Educate patients about their mental health conditions, treatment options, and resources within the community, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.
• Maintain detailed and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to do so.
• Engage in regular case consultations and participate in professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge of emerging treatment approaches.

You will work with a diverse clientele, including adults, adolescents, and families, each presenting unique challenges in mental health care. This diversity allows you to tailor your therapeutic approach to a range of backgrounds, experiences, and needs. The goal is to foster resilience and self-management skills in your patients, ultimately leading to improved health outcomes and enhanced quality of life.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.
• In-depth understanding of various mental health disorders and therapeutic methods.
• Exceptional skills in conducting mental health assessments and creating effective treatment plans.
• Experience providing therapy to varied populations and managing group dynamics.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills that foster rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
• Dedication to professional ethics, maintaining boundaries, and adhering to best practices in mental health care.
• Proficiency with electronic health records and technology to support remote therapy delivery.

• A minimum of one year of experience in a mental health counseling role is required.
• Experience working in a telehealth capacity is highly desirable and will be advantageous in transitioning to this role.
