Job Description

RESPEC is seeking a Senior PeopleSoft FSCM Functional Consultant for a long-term contract role supporting a New Mexico State Agency. This remote position focuses on the functional configuration, maintenance, and standardization of PeopleSoft Financials 9.2. The successful candidate will act as a subject matter expert for Grants, Accounts Receivable, Project Costing, and Billing, ensuring the system meets complex governmental accounting and federal grant requirements.

Primary Responsibilities
The consultant will lead functional efforts to configure and support PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 modules (GM, AR, PC, BI) while ensuring seamless integration across the FSCM suite and with PeopleSoft HCM. Key duties include analyzing and implementing new module functionality via PUM updates, managing the software change management process (including scripting and testing documentation), and providing high-level troubleshooting for complex system issues. Additionally, the role involves developing and delivering training materials and using technical tools like SQL and Query Manager to support data analysis and reporting requirements.

Qualifications
  • 10+ years of PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 experience, with a focus on functional support and configuration.
  • Extensive module expertise in Grants (GM), Accounts Receivable (AR), Project Costing (PC), and Billing (BI).
  • Deep knowledge of Governmental Accounting and the specific requirements of Federal Grants.
  • Strong integration background, specifically regarding FSCM cross-module data flow and HCM Project Costing/Grants integrations.
  • Proven PUM experience, including analyzing update images and implementing new features.
  • Solid change management skills, including a disciplined approach to testing, scripting, and documentation.
  • Proficiency in technical reporting tools, specifically SQL and PeopleSoft Query Manager.
  • Training experience and the ability to communicate complex system concepts to end users.
