Job Duties:
  • Evaluate potential claims and assist with case assessments.
  • Manage a caseload of plaintiff-side employment litigation matters from inception through resolution.
  • Draft, propound, and respond to written discovery.
  • Prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation-related filings.
  • Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategy.
  • Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and corporate representatives.
  • Prepare matters for mediation, settlement discussions, and trial when necessary.
  • Communicate regularly with clients regarding case strategy and status updates.
  • Collaborate closely with attorneys and litigation support staff to develop effective case strategies.
  • Maintain organized case files while meeting litigation deadlines and delivering high-quality work product.

Job Requirements:
  • Active Arizona Bar license in good standing is required.
  • 3+ years of civil litigation experience, preferably within plaintiff labor and employment.
  • Strong experience with discovery, motion practice, and depositions.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Comfortable managing cases with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively within a team.
  • Experience with Clio and Microsoft OneDrive is preferred.
  • Detail-oriented, conscientious, and committed to producing high-quality legal work.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach and a willingness to learn and grow within a collaborative practice.
