Help Mining Companies Improve Workforce Performance and Operational Results

We're looking for a Workforce Development Consultant to work directly with mining operations across North America, helping customers transform training into measurable operational performance improvements.

This is a highly visible, client-facing role that combines mining operations, workforce development, performance analytics, and consulting.

What You'll Do

As a trusted advisor to mining customers, you will help identify workforce performance opportunities, implement training and improvement initiatives, analyze operational data, and ensure clients achieve measurable value from their investment in workforce development solutions.

Your work will involve:

Driving Performance Improvement

• Partnering with mining operations to identify performance gaps and improvement opportunities
• Using simulator and operational data to support data-driven decision making
• Developing and optimizing workforce development strategies
• Supporting customers in achieving operational and workforce performance objectives

Consulting with Mining Clients

• Building trusted relationships with operational leaders and training teams
• Facilitating discussions around workforce capability, operational performance, and business outcomes
• Presenting recommendations and improvement opportunities to stakeholders
• Supporting long-term customer success and value realization

Leading Workforce Development Programs

• Implementing simulator-based training and workforce development initiatives
• Monitoring training effectiveness and recommending improvements
• Supporting project execution across multiple customer sites
• Coordinating activities with local and global teams

Communicating Results

• Developing meaningful performance reports and dashboards
• Translating complex operational data into actionable insights
• Presenting progress, outcomes, and recommendations to customer leadership teams

What We're Looking ForRequired

• Experience within mining operations, mining services, operational improvement, technical services, workforce development, training, or consulting
• Strong understanding of mining operational environments
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to analyze information and translate insights into practical actions
• Customer-focused mindset with strong relationship management skills
• Willingness to travel up to 50% across North America

Preferred

• Experience leading training, workforce development, or operational improvement initiatives
• Experience working with mine operations leadership teams
• Exposure to simulation, technology-enabled training, or performance improvement programs
• Experience using data, reporting, or performance analytics to support decision making
• Background in mining consulting, continuous improvement, operational excellence, or workforce capability development
