• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the symptoms of eating disorders as well as any co-occurring mental health conditions that may impact treatment.
• Create individualized, actionable treatment plans that align with assessment data and client goals for recovery.
• Facilitate evidence-based therapeutic sessions utilizing modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients reframe their relationship with food and body image.
• Address clients' negative beliefs and cognitive distortions related to body image and nutritional habits, guiding them toward healthier perspectives.
• Empower clients to develop effective coping strategies and emotional regulation techniques, minimizing the risk of relapse to disordered eating behaviors.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for coordinated care, ensuring that treatment remains holistic and adaptive to each client's evolving needs.
• Provide psychoeducation to both clients and their families to deepen understanding of eating disorders, which fosters a supportive environment for recovery.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of client progress, treatment sessions, and plans while adhering to legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in continuous professional development by participating in team meetings, case reviews, and industry-related education.

Our clinic specializes in treating individuals experiencing a spectrum of eating disorders. The population served typically includes adolescents and adults who are navigating the complexities of their relationship with food and body image. You will play a crucial role in supporting these individuals by offering compassionate care tailored to their unique experiences.

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Tennessee.
• Demonstrable expertise in evidence-based therapeutic approaches applicable to eating disorders, including CBT, DBT, and ACT.
• A thorough understanding of the complexities associated with eating disorders and any co-occurring mental health conditions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating the ability to establish rapport and trust with clients.

• A minimum of two years of direct experience in a clinical setting, focusing on eating disorders or related areas.
• Familiarity with various treatment modalities and intervention strategies tailored to diverse client needs.
• A history of working in multidisciplinary teams or community health settings will be an advantage.
