About the role
We're looking for a Senior Solution Engineer - Optimization to partner with customers in solving complex, real-world problems using advanced computing technologies. In this role, you'll work at the intersection of technology and business; helping organizations identify high-impact use cases, guiding technical adoption, and delivering measurable outcomes. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and engage directly with customers as a trusted technical advisor, shaping solutions from early discovery through deployment and expansion.
What you'll do
  • Partner with customers to understand complex challenges and translate them into scalable technical solutions
  • Lead technical conversations with a range of stakeholders, from hands-on practitioners to senior decision-makers
  • Deliver compelling presentations, demos, and workshops in both small and large group settings
  • Support customer implementations and ongoing success by providing guidance throughout the solution lifecycle
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with customer teams and identify opportunities to expand impact
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, product, and services teams to ensure alignment and value delivery
  • Contribute to external engagement efforts, including industry events and thought leadership activities
  • Share insights from customer engagements to help shape product direction and future innovation

About You
  • Experience in a customer-facing technical role (e.g., solutions engineering, technical consulting, customer success, or similar) within a software or technology environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex challenges and communicate solutions clearly
  • Knowledge of optimization, algorithms, or analytical problem-solving approaches
  • Proficiency in Python and familiarity with modern development tools and APIs
  • Background in a quantitative or technical field such as computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related disciplines
  • Experience working with enterprise customers in industries such as logistics, manufacturing, life sciences, finance, or research environments
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience with operations research or advanced analytics techniques
  • Exposure to emerging technologies such as quantum computing or AI/ML
  • Experience managing or contributing to complex technical projects

Please Note:
  • This is a remote role based in the United States but can also be a hybrid role if you are based in the Boca Raton FL area.
  • Travel (approximately 30-50%) for customer engagements and events
