Position Overview

The Salvation Psychotherapy Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our remote team in Chino Hills, California. In this full-time position, you will provide critical mental health services and support to clients facing various challenges. Your expertise will allow you to implement evidence-based therapies and personalized treatment plans, fostering resilience and overall well-being in those you serve.

Work Environment

This role is entirely remote, allowing for flexibility while enabling you to connect with clients through digital mediums. Our outpatient office setting ensures accessibility and convenience, as clients engage with our services from the comfort of their own homes. You will work Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 4 PM, with the possibility for scheduling flexibility based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough clinical assessments by employing evidence-based practices to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client.
  • Utilize a diverse array of therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to promote effective treatment outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records in adherence to HIPAA regulations and other relevant standards, ensuring client privacy and ethical compliance.
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals, to provide integrated care.
  • Participate in regular case consultations and peer review meetings to continuously enhance the quality of care provided to our clients.
  • Educate clients and their families about mental health condition management, treatment options, and available community resources, facilitating an informed and supportive therapeutic environment.
  • Stay informed on the latest advancements in the mental health field to ensure that you are providing the best evidence-based practices to your clients.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse clientele, including individuals struggling with trauma, anxiety disorders, depression, and other mental health issues. Qualifications
  • A master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • An active license in California to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • Strong proficiency in solution-based psychotherapy interventions, enabling you to provide tailored and effective care to clients from various backgrounds.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for the establishment of rapport and trust with clients.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to navigate complex client situations effectively.
