• Conduct thorough evaluations of new clients to assess their mental health and substance use history, ensuring that treatment strategies are personalized and relevant.
• Design and implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions that address the unique challenges of each client, fostering their recovery and resilience.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring all documentation meets industry standards.
• Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals to enhance the quality of care delivered to our clients, participating in regular case reviews and strategy meetings.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, available resources, and supportive strategies for ongoing wellness.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in social work methodologies and mental health practices to continuously enhance your professional skills and efficacy.

The clients you will serve primarily consist of individuals undergoing detoxification for substance use disorders. This population often presents with co-occurring mental health issues, making it essential to approach treatment holistically. You will play a pivotal role in guiding these clients through their challenges, providing both emotional support and practical skills to aid their recovery.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program and a current California LCSW license.
• A commitment to ethical practice and demonstrated ability to provide empathetic and effective psychotherapy.
• Proficient in using electronic health record systems to document and track client progress.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the capacity to build rapport and trust with clients.

• At least two years of experience as a clinical social worker, ideally in mental health or addiction treatment settings.
• A background in crisis intervention and substance use counseling.
• Experience in remote therapy settings and familiarity with telehealth platforms would be beneficial.
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively while being responsive to the individual needs of clients.
