The Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for aligning HR functions and initiatives with the business objectives for an assigned business unit. This position adds value to the business unit by providing appropriate and timely HR solutions that build morale, increase employee productivity and retention, and ultimately drive business results.

Position Information: This is a regular, full-time position, reporting to the HR Business Partner Manager.
Compensation: Base pay is anticipated to be between $104,829.00 and $115,000.00 per year. Eligible employees may also receive incentive/commission/annual bonus pay based on individual and/or company performance. Compensation may vary based on factors such as, but not limited to, individual skills, experience, training, education/certifications, geographic location, internal equity, and local market conditions.
Location: Our headquarters are located in Tempe, AZ. While we have a preference for candidates based in the Phoenix/Tempe area who can participate in a hybrid work schedule, we welcome applications from highly qualified remote candidates across the U.S.

Envision Your Experience.
In this role you'll have the opportunity to:
  • Partner with business unit leadership to develop and drive the HR agenda within the business unit.
  • Provide daily HR guidance to all levels of employees and management within the business unit.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues and address grievances.
  • Guide and support managers and leaders through performance management, succession planning, business unit restructuring, annual budget and pay adjustment processes, reductions in force, and workforce planning.
  • Analyze and report on trends and metrics and recommend HR strategies, policies, and practices.
  • Support managers in organizational design, developing job descriptions, and obtaining market pricing for new jobs.
  • Identify training opportunities for teams and individuals and collaborate with the appropriate internal team on training solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal HR departments, including recruiting, benefits, employee experience, and compensation, to understand their functions and support their initiatives within the business unit.
  • Maintain knowledge of current and developing legal requirements to reduce risk and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain an effective level of literacy about the business unit's operations, financial position, midrange plans, culture, and competition.
  • Other duties as required.

Share Your Expertise.
Experience, education, and qualifications essential for success in this role, include:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, communications, psychology or human resources management and at least 8 years of experience working in strategic areas of HR; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including employee relations, performance management, compensation, organizational development, and federal and state employment laws.
  • Demonstrable leadership skills, including experience working closely and communicating with business leaders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply applicable policies, guidelines, and laws.
  • Experience with analyzing and reporting on HR metrics.
  • Ability to be proactive and flexible to solve problems, as well as the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient with an HRIS and Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and meeting tools such as Teams.
  • Experience partnering with Product and Engineering organizations to support business objectives, organizational effectiveness, and talent strategies preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 5% to meet with business unit leaders or HR team members.
