Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' needs, challenges, and goals, creating personalized treatment plans that address their unique situations.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy.
• Engage in individual, couples, family, and group therapy sessions, adjusting techniques as necessary based on client feedback and progress.
• Document all clinical interactions diligently, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical and legal standards.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care that addresses the comprehensive needs of clients.
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities, including workshops and training sessions, to enhance your skills and remain updated on emerging mental health research.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Connecticut.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in counseling or a related mental health setting.
• Demonstrated knowledge of ethical and legal standards pertaining to mental health practice.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to establish rapport with clients from various backgrounds.
• Proficiency in using EMR systems and familiarity with telehealth platforms.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with specific populations, such as those struggling with substance misuse, trauma, or family dynamics.
• Specialization in group therapy or crisis intervention techniques is highly desirable.
• A track record of collaboration within multidisciplinary teams is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload. Additionally, as a member of our team, you will benefit from:
