Sun Rise Horizon Counseling Services is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a fully remote capacity. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patientsโ€™ mental health status and needs, utilizing diagnostic tools such as the DSM-5 to ensure accurate evaluations.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans that consider cultural diversity and unique challenges of the patient population, continuously monitoring and adjusting strategies based on patient progress.
  • Document all clinical interactions and treatment records promptly and accurately, adhering to regulatory compliance and departmental protocols.
  • Collaborate closely with patients and their families to define clear treatment goals and encourage a participatory approach to care.
  • Engage in educational initiatives by mentoring students, interns, and volunteers, and facilitating peer reviews to enhance clinical skills within the team.

You will primarily serve individuals and families impacted by cancer, addressing their mental health needs through specialized therapeutic interventions. Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Current State License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas.

Preferred Experience
