Job description

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior JDE Functional Analyst with a strong background in JDE Finance and Distribution modules to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in analyzing business needs, translating them into functional requirements, and ensuring the successful implementation and optimization of JD Edwards (JDE) ERP solutions. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve business processes, ensure seamless integration, and drive efficiency in Finance and Distribution areas.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering:
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements Gather, document, and analyze functional and technical requirements, ensuring they align with business goals and objectives.
    • Conduct workshops, interviews, and surveys to identify key business requirements and translate them into detailed specifications.
  • JDE Functional Expertise:
    • Provide deep expertise in JD Edwards Finance (General Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Financial Management) and Distribution (Inventory, Sales Order Management, Procurement, and Supply Chain Management) modules.
    • Configure and optimize JDE systems, ensuring they are aligned with best practices and business requirements.
    • Support the integration of JDE with other enterprise systems and ensure smooth data flow across departments.
    • SQL query writing skills & knowledge of EnterpriseOne tables
    • Ability to support EnterpriseOne security, UDOs and E1 configurations.
    • Expertise, or at a minimum exposure to JDE Orchestrator and mobile application
  • Solution Design & Implementation:
    • Collaborate with technical teams to design, test, and implement solutions within JDE modules.
    • Create functional designs, test cases, and documentation for new functionality or enhancements in the JDE system.
    • Oversee user acceptance testing (UAT), ensure successful deployment, and provide post-implementation support.
  • Stakeholder Communication & Training:
    • Act as the primary point of contact for business users regarding JDE functionality.
    • Develop and deliver end-user training sessions and documentation to ensure users understand and effectively use the JDE system.
    • Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and guidance to business users post-implementation.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and propose solutions to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and user experience within JDE .
    • Stay current with the latest JDE updates and industry trends to provide recommendations for system upgrades or enhancements.
  • Able to travel approximately 15% within the continental U.S. and Canada

Key Skills & Qualifications:
  • U.S. Citizenship is required. Candidates requiring employment authorization through an EAD, visa, or other non-citizen work authorization are not eligible for consideration.
  • Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or related field preferred. Relevant certifications in JDE or business analysis are a plus.

  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 4+ years of experience in a Business Analyst role with a focus on JDE
    • Strong functional knowledge of JDE Finance modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Financial Management) and Distribution modules (Sales Order, Procurement, Inventory, Supply Chain Management).
    • Proven experience with full-cycle JDE implementations and upgrades.
    • Experience working in a cross-functional team environment with a deep understanding of business processes and IT integration.

  • Skills:

    • Strong knowledge of JD Edwards ERP systems and modules
    • Experience in JDE configuration, testing, and deployment.

  • Tools & Technologies:

    • JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (JDE E1) experience.
    • Familiarity with JDE development tools, such as JD Edwards Form Design Workbench (FDW), Table Workbench (TWB), and UBEs (Universal Batch Engines).
    • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and other reporting tools.
    • Experience in Reportsnow is highly desired.

Salary range: $94000 - $120000
