Work Environment

This position offers a remote work setting, allowing flexibility while ensuring a climate-controlled office environment. Although primarily remote, the role includes daily interactions with department members and collaboration with other healthcare providers, emphasizing the importance of teamwork in achieving the best patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnose when necessary, and evaluate the effectiveness of mental health treatment using evidence-based tools, including the DSM-5.
  • Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs and cultural backgrounds of patients.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, implementing strategic interventions to support their mental health diagnoses.
  • Prepare timely and accurate treatment records and reports in compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
  • Collaborate with patients and their families to establish comprehensive care plans, ensuring alignment with their goals and expectations.
  • Facilitate referrals and coordinate with external treatment providers to create an integrated approach to patient care.
  • Provide educational support and mentoring to students, interns, and volunteers, enhancing the capabilities of our next generation of mental health professionals.
  • Engage in peer reviews and clinical collaborations to foster a culture of continuous professional development among team members.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Working with individuals and families confronting the emotional and psychological toll of a cancer diagnosis, this role prioritizes empathic engagement and trauma-informed care. You will assess and address the wide-ranging psychological impacts of cancer, from anxiety and depression to coping strategies and family dynamics. Your expertise will help create a safe space for patients to express their fears and hopes, ultimately aiding them in adjusting to their new realities.

Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in oncology or related healthcare settings.
  • Proficiency with electronic health record systems and telehealth platforms.
  • Demonstrated skills in evidence-based treatment modalities.
Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 105,000 per year. In addition to generous compensation, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
