• Conduct complete psychotherapeutic evaluations and handle ongoing therapy sessions, tailored to the unique needs of clients within hospice care.
• Utilize various psychological assessments and standardized tests to diagnose client concerns, ensuring the development of accurate and effective treatment plans.
• Facilitate treatment goals focusing on improving mental health and emotional stability, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams for integrated care solutions.
• Provide crisis intervention when necessary, including risk assessments for self-harm, emotional distress, and potential hospitalizations, ensuring the immediate safety and mental health support of participants.
• Maintain meticulous records of all client interactions, assessments, and treatment progress in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to create comprehensive support strategies that address the multifaceted needs of our clients and their families.
• Participate actively in clinical case reviews and staff meetings, contributing to our collective knowledge-building and continuous improvement of patient care.

The primary client population includes individuals receiving end-of-life care in hospice settings, as well as their families. This role demands a sensitive understanding of grief, loss, and the complex emotions faced by clients during this critical time. As a Clinical Social Worker, you will provide essential psychological support, equipping families and individuals with coping strategies and emotional resources.

• A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
• A current, valid LCSW license required to practice in Georgia.
• A minimum of two years of direct clinical experience in providing mental health services, ideally within hospice or palliative care settings.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities tailored to address complex emotional and psychological needs.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to engage with diverse populations and manage sensitive situations effectively.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in maintaining records in electronic health systems.
