• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to develop effective, personalized treatment plans that address the unique mental health needs of patients.

• Administer evidence-based therapeutic interventions, employing solution-focused techniques tailored to the complexities of individual cases.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records to ensure compliance with state regulations and uphold a high standard of patient care.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, physicians, and other social workers, to coordinate comprehensive care for patients.

• Participate in case consultations and peer review meetings aimed at reviewing treatment approaches and improving care quality within the team.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health issues, providing information and resources that empower them throughout their care process.

• Stay informed on the latest research developments in clinical social work and mental health to enhance treatment outcomes for clients.

As an LICSW, you will be working with a diverse group of patients within a hospice care setting, addressing both their psychological and emotional needs. This role requires sensitivity and understanding of the unique challenges faced by patients and families during end-of-life care, ensuring that clients are supported with dignity and respect. By employing tailored therapeutic techniques, you will play a crucial role in helping clients manage feelings of grief, anxiety, and depression.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A valid LICSW license for the state of Massachusetts.

• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in providing psychotherapy, with a strong emphasis on individual or family care.

• Proven expertise in solution-based psychotherapy interventions.

• Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills, essential in navigating complex patient scenarios.

• Experience in hospice or palliative care settings is highly desirable, providing insights into unique patient needs.
