The Emotional Intelligence Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team on a full-time basis. • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' emotional and relational health during individual, couples, and family therapy sessions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that align with clients' specific goals and track their progress over time.
• Facilitate sessions that utilize a range of therapeutic modalities, ensuring clients are engaged and comfortably challenged in their growth.
• Implement crisis intervention strategies when necessary, providing immediate support to clients in acute distress.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records in accordance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
• Collaborate with other mental health professionals, such as social workers and psychiatrists, to provide an integrated support system for our clients.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices and licensure requirements.

In this role, you will work with a diverse group of clients, including couples seeking to improve their relationships, families navigating conflicts, and individuals dealing with personal mental health challenges. We serve a broad demographic, understanding that each client brings unique experiences, cultures, and perspectives to their therapeutic journey.

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
• Current licensure as a marriage and family therapist (LMFT) in Washington State.
• Demonstrated skill in effective communication and interpersonal interactions, essential for building rapport with clients.
• Proficiency in working with diverse populations and an appreciation for varied cultural backgrounds.
• Prior experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, and families, with measurable outcomes.
• Knowledge of contemporary, evidence-based therapeutic techniques and their application in real-world settings.

• Experience with specialized therapy practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), or solution-focused therapy.
• Familiarity with addiction counseling and supporting clients in recovery is highly beneficial.
• Previous work within a team-based environment focusing on multi-disciplinary collaboration.
