• Conducting thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate mental health concerns, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of each client's background and needs.
• Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans that address specific mental health challenges and recovery goals, using evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions in a virtual format, providing a supportive and engaging atmosphere for clients.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary treatment team to coordinate care, ensuring that all aspects of a client's well-being are addressed, from medical to psychological needs.

In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work primarily with individuals in detoxification and recovery from substance use disorders. This often includes clients experiencing co-occurring mental health issues, such as depression, anxiety, or trauma-related conditions. Your capacity for cultural competence and sensitivity will be crucial in addressing the diverse backgrounds and stories of our client population.

• A valid and current state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Bachelor's Degree in a related field is required, while a Master's or Doctoral degree is preferred.
• A minimum of two years of experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating the ability to handle various mental health disorders with professionalism and expertise.
• A clear understanding of evidence-based practices in mental health care, with skills in utilizing these methods in therapy.
• Exceptional counseling abilities, including active listening, rapport-building, and motivational interviewing techniques.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues and for providing clarity to clients and their families.

While two years of relevant experience is required, candidates with additional experience in addiction counseling, trauma-focused therapy, or cognitive behavioral therapy techniques may be preferred. Those familiar with remote therapy platforms and telehealth best practices will excel in this role.
