Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma history and ascertain the best therapeutic approach tailored to their needs.

  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to deliver focused interventions.
  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, creating an environment that encourages patients to process their trauma and develop practical coping strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and support staff, to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
  • Provide immediate crisis intervention and support for patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies.
  • Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources.
