Holistic Mental and Counseling Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) to join our remote team based in Macon, Georgia. • Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma history and ascertain the best therapeutic approach tailored to their needs.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans aimed at facilitating trauma recovery and enhancing resilience in patients.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to deliver focused interventions.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, creating an environment that encourages patients to process their trauma and develop practical coping strategies.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and support staff, to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support for patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies.
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available community resources.
• Maintain comprehensive and confidential documentation to align with legal and ethical standards while using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and continuous professional development activities focused on enhancing trauma-informed care practices.
• Stay informed with the latest research and innovative practices in trauma therapy to continuously improve service delivery.

As a licensed therapist at Holistic Mental and Counseling Services, you will focus on a diverse patient population primarily affected by trauma. This includes individuals struggling with PTSD, complex trauma, and various dissociative disorders. Your role will be crucial in supporting these patients in their journeys toward healing and recovery, ultimately enhancing their quality of life.

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed care approaches is essential.
• Proven experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies is highly valued.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, complemented by a compassionate and supportive demeanor.
• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations while providing care.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and pertinent software applications.
• A strong capability to work efficiently within a multidisciplinary team structure.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience treating trauma-related disorders is preferred.
• Experience in a remote work environment or delivering teletherapy.

The salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
