• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health concerns, strengths, and resource availability.
• Employ evidence-based therapeutic methods, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused brief therapy, and trauma-focused therapy, to provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
• Design and implement tailored treatment plans complete with specific goals and interventions that address the unique needs of each client.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure an integrated approach to client care, optimizing outcomes.
• Respond to crises with appropriate interventions, conduct risk assessments, and develop safety plans as required by client circumstances.
• Maintain meticulous documentation in accordance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring the highest level of care and compliance.
• Lead group therapy sessions and psychoeducational workshops, fostering community support and resilience among participants.

This position focuses on a diverse clientele, primarily composed of school-aged children and adolescents facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. Your ability to connect with youth and their families while providing guidance in often complex emotional landscapes will be crucial in fostering recovery and resilience.

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is mandatory.
• Possession of an active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) licensure in the state of Kansas is required.
• A minimum of two years of experience providing clinical services in a mental health or outpatient setting.
• Strong foundation in evidence-based treatment modalities, with a commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and assessment skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and interdisciplinary teams.

While a minimum of two years of relevant experience is required, familiarity with school-based mental health programs and strong collaboration skills with educational staff are preferred. Previous experience in crisis intervention and trauma-informed care will be advantageous.
