Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough mental health evaluations and create detailed case documents from the initial consultation through the course of treatment.
  • Assess clients’ mental, behavioral, and emotional health to inform tailored intervention and recovery plans.
  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that address the unique challenges faced by your clients.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that demonstrate measurable outcomes and progress in client health.
  • Coordinate with various healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and medical staff, to create holistic intervention strategies.
  • Monitor treatment progress closely, adjusting plans as necessary to optimize client recovery pathways.
  • Support family members and primary caregivers by providing resources and strategies to manage mental health challenges effectively.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records using our chosen EHR system, ensuring continuity of care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and families who are facing various mental and emotional health challenges. Our clients may present with anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related concerns, and adjustment issues, among others. You will also encounter clients dealing with co-occurring disorders, where mental health issues intersect with substance use challenges, requiring a nuanced and multifaceted therapeutic approach.

Qualifications
  • Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Nevada.
  • Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
  • Demonstrated clinical experience in a mental health setting, preferably in a counseling or therapeutic role.
  • Proficiency with electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR or similar platforms.
  • Deep understanding of common physical and emotional health conditions, including co-occurring substance use disorders.
  • Awareness of best practices from the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate therapeutic concepts clearly.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, characterized by empathy, active listening, and the ability to build rapport with clients.
Preferred Experience
