Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth assessments to understand the needs, challenges, and treatment goals of individuals seeking help for substance use disorders.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to individual patient circumstances.
  • Facilitate individual counseling sessions using techniques such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy, focusing on empowering clients throughout their recovery journeys.
  • Lead group therapy sessions that offer a safe space for participants to share experiences, gain insights, and learn coping strategies from both peers and therapists.
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and addiction specialists, to coordinate comprehensive care and ensure all aspects of a patient’s health are addressed.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field is required.
