As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Clear Skies Therapy Services, you will work in a supportive and collaborative setting. Our outpatient office is equipped with modern resources, and while your work will be primarily remote, regular team meetings will ensure that you remain connected with both clients and colleagues. Our work schedule is from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, with occasional flexibility for evening or weekend sessions to accommodate client needs.

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments utilizing established protocols to accurately determine clients' mental health needs.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual goals and specific mental health challenges.
• Provide therapeutic support through individual, couples, and group counseling sessions using varied therapeutic modalities.
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to integrate care and enhance the treatment process for all clients.
• Maintain comprehensive, confidential client records in adherence with legal standards and ethical practices.
• Engage in regular clinical supervision, attend case conferences, and participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your counseling skills.

Our clients come from various backgrounds and present a wide range of mental health issues, including addiction, anxiety disorders, depression, PTSD, and other mood-related complications. You will play a key role in supporting these individuals as they strive for growth and stability through tailored therapeutic practices. Your empathy and understanding will be critical in creating an environment where clients feel safe and empowered to share their experiences.

• A valid license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Connecticut.
• A Master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated experience conducting individual and group therapy in various mental health settings.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic techniques and their practical application in mental health treatment.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling you to build rapport with clients with diverse cultural and social backgrounds.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• A commitment to ethical principles and practices, particularly concerning client confidentiality.

• Experience working in a remote capacity is a plus, showcasing adaptability to various technologies for communication and therapy.
• Familiarity with specific therapeutic methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Prior experience in developing treatment plans and conducting assessments for various mental health disorders is advantageous.
