Work Environment

This role operates in a fully remote telehealth setting, allowing you to conduct therapy sessions through secure video conferencing tools. Our team enjoys flexible work hours within standard business operations (Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM), promoting an excellent work-life balance. You will be provided with all necessary technology and support for seamless communication and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ symptoms and experiences, identifying the severity, frequency, and duration of their mood disorder symptoms.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate their specific goals and preferences, ensuring a personalized therapeutic journey.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively address and treat mood disorders.
  • Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies to foster a better understanding of their conditions.
  • Continuously monitor and track clients’ progress throughout the treatment process, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to optimize outcomes.
  • Work in coordination with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to ensure integrated care and comprehensive treatment for our clients.
  • Stay updated with the latest research and advancements in the field of mood disorders to inform your professional practice and enhance client treatment.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of client interactions and treatment plans in line with legal and ethical standards.
  • Engage in team meetings, peer consultations, and professional development opportunities to strengthen your clinical skills and knowledge.
  • Act as an advocate for clients, working to eliminate the stigma surrounding mental health issues and promoting accessible resources for those in need.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with clients experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety disorders, and bipolar disorder. Your impact will be profound as you help these individuals explore their feelings, gain coping strategies, and work toward a healthier state of mental well-being.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Texas.
  • Proficiency in evidence-based treatment methodologies, particularly CBT and DBT, with a proven track record of effective interventions.
  • Strong foundational understanding of psychopharmacological treatments, enabling effective collaboration with psychiatrists.
Preferred Experience
  • Demonstrated experience working with diverse populations and various cultural backgrounds.
