This role operates primarily in a remote setting, with the option to connect to our outpatient office as necessary. Teams regularly meet online for collaborative case discussions and training sessions, allowing for continuous support and development.

• Conduct comprehensive client assessments to identify mental health needs and concerns.
• Provide individualized therapy to adult individuals and couples, utilizing appropriate therapeutic approaches.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation of therapy sessions and client interactions within 24 hours.
• Develop tailored treatment plans that align with the specific goals and needs of clients.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions to foster collaboration and share insights on client care strategies.
• Maintain organized and detailed records of client progress and treatment history.
• Keep abreast of the latest mental health research and best practices to enhance therapeutic techniques.

The counselor will primarily work with adult clients and couples facing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and life transitions. Our approach is holistic and client-centered, which means that each client’s unique experiences and perspectives will guide their treatment. By engaging with a diverse client base, successful candidates will have the opportunity to apply various therapeutic strategies tailored to individual needs.

• A minimum of a Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
• Independent licensure (LMFT, LCPC, LPC, LCSW) is required to practice in Oregon.
• Proficiency and comfort with virtual therapy platforms to effectively engage with clients remotely.

• At least 2 years of direct experience in clinical mental health counseling, preferably in an outpatient setting.
• Experience working with diverse populations and an understanding of cultural competency in mental health practice.
• Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic practices that can be adapted for remote counseling.
