Work Environment

This position is fully remote, offering you the flexibility to manage your work-life balance while delivering high-quality teletherapy services. Our operational framework is designed for the latest telehealth technologies, ensuring that you have the resources necessary to provide effective therapy from the comfort of your home. Your work schedule will typically run Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, promoting a stable and predictable work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to inform treatment planning.
  • Facilitate therapy sessions that may include individual, couples, and group therapy, tailoring your approach to meet specific client needs.
  • Complete all client documentation and progress notes within 24 hours to maintain compliance and ensure continuity of care.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that are responsive to the ongoing needs of clients.
  • Participate in regular peer case consultations to enhance therapeutic techniques and share valuable insights with colleagues.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records, following best practices in data management and HIPAA compliance.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at West Advisory, you will primarily serve a diverse population of adult individuals and couples facing a range of mental health issues. This may include anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, trauma, and life transitions. Your expertise will guide these clients to achieve their personal goals and improve their overall mental health and quality of life.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field is required.
  • An active independent licensure (LMFT, LCSW, LPC) is essential to provide therapeutic services.
  • Proficiency in using telehealth technology to conduct virtual therapy sessions effectively.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of two years of experience in mental health counseling is required, with demonstrated effectiveness in therapy practices.
  • Experience working with diverse populations will be highly regarded, enabling you to understand and empathize with various client backgrounds and needs.
