Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify mental health needs, utilizing clinical tools to create personalized treatment plans that align with evidence-based practices.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions, drawing from a variety of therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy to meet client-specific needs.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including case managers, psychiatrists, and peer support specialists, to ensure all-encompassing care and effective communication regarding treatment progress and adjustments.
• Offer immediate crisis intervention to clients experiencing acute distress, employing your skills and empathy to stabilize their situations effectively.
• Participate in community outreach initiatives aimed at raising awareness of mental health resources, thereby encouraging community engagement and support for mental health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will involve engaging with clients from a variety of backgrounds, including those from different ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic groups. This role provides you with the opportunity to enhance your clinical skills while contributing to equitable health care access in the community. The therapist's work will directly impact the mental health outcomes of clients and, by extension, the entire Conroe community.

Qualifications

• Must hold an independent and active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• Have completed a master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
• Possess strong communication skills to effectively establish therapeutic relationships and build rapport with a diverse client base.
• Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and competence in working with varied demographic groups, ensuring an inclusive therapeutic atmosphere.
• Exhibit excellent organizational abilities, ensuring timely and accurate documentation and reporting.

Preferred Experience

Ideal candidates will have at least two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health counseling environment. Experience in telehealth services is advantageous, especially familiarity with virtual therapy tools and managing remote client relationships.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers an annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and credentials. In addition, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
