Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to accurately identify clients' mental health needs, developing tailored treatment plans that address those needs.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and others based on client preferences.
• Engage in collaboration with case managers, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care for our clients, creating a holistic treatment approach.
• Deliver crisis intervention services effectively, providing timely support to clients in acute distress or emergency situations through remote protocols.
• Actively participate in community outreach initiatives, promoting mental health awareness in Atlanta by organizing workshops and informational webinars.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client base is diverse, including children, adolescents, adults, and families from various socio-economic and cultural backgrounds. You will work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, and other mental health challenges. A deep understanding of cultural competence is essential to effectively address the needs of our clients and build trustful therapeutic relationships.

Qualifications

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and staff alike.
• Demonstrated cultural competence, with the ability to work effectively with individuals from a variety of backgrounds.
• Proficiency in organizational and time management skills to ensure documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner through our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in community mental health settings, especially working with underserved populations.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote counseling methodologies.
• Background in crisis intervention or trauma-informed care.
