• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the severity and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, utilizing standardized tools and clinical interviews.
• Collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment plans that align with their unique goals, preferences, and needs.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions specifically addressing mood disorders, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), in remote sessions.
• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care practices, fostering an understanding of mental health.
• Monitor client progress dynamically through regular follow-ups, adjusting treatment plans as required to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
• Work in close partnership with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for clients.
• Stay current with new research, best practices, and emerging techniques for treating mood disorders, participating in continuous learning opportunities.
• Document all client interactions meticulously, maintaining compliance with ethical and legal standards in mental health practice.
• Participate in team meetings and case consultations to share insights, discuss treatment plans, and improve overall service delivery.
• Actively advocate for clients, promoting the de-stigmatization of mood disorders and the importance of mental health care.

This position primarily serves individuals dealing with various mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related issues. We cater to a diverse clientele, including adults of all backgrounds, and strive to create a safe and welcoming environment for all clients seeking help.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Certified (LCSW-C), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Maryland.
• At least two years of post-licensure experience in mental health settings, specifically focusing on mood disorders.
• Proven expertise in evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as CBT and DBT.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to inspire confidence and forge meaningful connections online.

• Experience working with diverse populations and an understanding of cultural competence within therapeutic practices.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and digital documentation systems related to mental health records.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development and learning in the field of mental health.

Sharp Health Care Inc. offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
