Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and evaluations to effectively determine clients' mental health status and treatment needs.
• Develop, implement, and regularly update personalized treatment plans based on individual client goals and evaluated progress.
• Provide individual therapy sessions to adult clients utilizing evidence-based approaches and solution-focused techniques.
• Utilize teletherapy platforms to deliver virtual therapy sessions that align with clients' availability and comfort.
• Provide crisis intervention services as needed, demonstrating agility and a calm demeanor in high-pressure situations.
• Engage in continuous professional development activities to stay current with evolving best practices and industry standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Sharp Health Care Inc., you will work primarily with adult clients who present a diverse array of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and more. Our clientele is characterized by a commitment to personal growth and a desire to lead improved mental lives. You will play a crucial role in helping clients navigate these challenges, guiding them towards healthier coping mechanisms and achieving therapeutic milestones.

Qualifications

• A valid and current license as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective relationship-building with clients.
• Empathetic, compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to client-centered care.
• Strong organizational abilities and time-management skills to balance caseload and administrative tasks effectively.
• No history of disciplinary actions related to professional licensing.

Preferred Experience

While previous experience in a therapeutic setting is highly regarded, candidates new to the field who demonstrate strong foundational skills and a commitment to continuous learning are also encouraged to apply. Proficiency in teletherapy and experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems will be considered advantageous.

• A competitive salary range of $90,000 to $104,000 per year, commensurate with your caseload and experience.
