Medicare Customer Service Representative

Position Summary

We are seeking compassionate and customer-focused Medicare Customer Service Representatives to support members during the busy Open Enrollment season. In this role, you will serve as a trusted resource for Medicare beneficiaries, helping them understand their healthcare benefits, navigate coverage questions, and access the services they need. The ideal candidate is patient, empathetic, and experienced in delivering exceptional customer service in a call center environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle inbound calls from Medicare members, providing accurate information regarding benefits, coverage, and plan services.
  • Assist members in understanding Medicare and Medicaid-related programs and available healthcare resources.
  • Answer questions, resolve concerns, and provide guidance in a professional and empathetic manner.
  • Document member interactions accurately in internal systems.
  • Research and resolve member inquiries while adhering to quality, compliance, and service standards.
  • Escalate complex issues to the appropriate teams when necessary.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction while managing daily call volume.
  • Stay current on plan benefits, policies, and healthcare regulations.
What You'll Do

  • Support a Medicare population, requiring patience, active listening, and strong communication skills.
  • Educate members on benefits, eligibility, coverage options, and plan-related services.

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of call center experience.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.

  • Experience handling high-volume call environments.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
