Work Environment

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at our organization, you will primarily work remotely, with occasional requirements to meet clients in our outpatient office in Boca Raton. Your standard work schedule will be Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, with potential evening or weekend appointments as needed to accommodate client schedules. This remote position is designed to promote flexibility while ensuring that you can effectively support your caseload.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of clients while establishing strong rapport and trust through effective communication and professional boundaries.
  • Conduct regular client meetings to assess progress, address stability, and discuss discharge planning when appropriate.
  • Create, implement, and supervise individualized treatment plans that reflect the unique needs and goals of each client.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including progress notes and intake assessments, in accordance with industry best practices.
  • Facilitate weekly individual therapy sessions to provide consistent support and therapeutic intervention.
  • Engage in regular supervision sessions to discuss clinical practice and areas for growth.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care for your clients.
  • Adopt a growth mindset, continually seeking to learn and improve your counseling skills and methodologies in practice.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your practice will encompass a diverse client base, including adults, children, and families seeking mental health support. You will address a range of mental health issues, providing individualized care and tailored therapeutic solutions to enhance their emotional wellness and drive positive outcomes.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field is required.
  • Possession of an unrestricted, independent, current, and active Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential.
  • Minimum one year of post-graduate experience in a clinical outpatient setting is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in using basic office technology, including Excel, Outlook, RMS systems, and other practice management software.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in providing direct psychotherapy services to both individuals and families is highly preferred.
