Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with case managers, psychiatrists, and additional healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care and create a supportive treatment network for clients.
  • Provide immediate crisis intervention services and support to individuals in acute distress, mobilizing your expertise and compassion in emergency situations.
  • Engage in local community outreach initiatives and educational workshops, promoting mental health awareness and combatting stigma associated with mental illness.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will focus on serving a diverse clientele that includes individuals from various ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds. You will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for clients dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health issues, ensuring that they receive the right support and resources to achieve their treatment goals.

Qualifications
  • Possess a current and independent license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
  • Hold a masterโ€™s or doctorโ€™s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport and therapeutic relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Exemplify cultural competence with the ability to effectively engage with individuals from varying ethnicities and life experiences.
  • Showcase exceptional organizational skills to manage client documentation ensure timely record-keeping.
Preferred Experience
  • Direct experience in community mental health settings, preferably working with clients from diverse and underserved populations.
  • Familiarity with trauma-informed care and evidence-based therapeutic frameworks such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or Motivational Interviewing.
  • Prior experience in crisis intervention, including the ability to assess and respond to mental health emergencies effectively.
