Health Care Operations / Associate

A leading AmLaw 100 firm is seeking a junior to mid-level healthcare associate to join its national healthcare practice in its Denver, St. Louis, Chicago, Los Angeles, or Washington, DC office, with a strong preference for Denver. Interested candidates must possess a high level of academic achievement, solid law firm experience, and superb research, writing, and communication skills.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in healthcare law. Candidates should be motivated, self-starters with demonstrated interests in and knowledge of one or more of the following healthcare law areas of specialty:

  • State licensure of healthcare entities and practitioners

  • Government payor enrollment, reimbursement, and audits, including Medicare and Medicaid and/or contracted Medicare or Medicaid plans (e.g., Medicare Advantage)

  • Healthcare fraud and abuse laws (i.e., federal anti-kickback, Stark, and CMP provisions)

  • Government investigations and related litigation

  • HIPAA, privacy, and security

  • Healthcare system operational and/or payor contracting

  • Regulatory or transactional support for healthcare M&A deals

The firm is particularly interested in candidates who have the ambition, drive, and team orientation to help grow its national practice. Additionally, the ability to navigate complex subject matter quickly and effectively is required. The firm offers a competitive compensation and benefits package with challenging work in a collegial environment.

Application Requirements:
Please submit a cover letter, resume, and law school transcript. A JD and active bar admission in the jurisdiction in which the candidate intends to practice are required.

Compensation:
Salary will range between $220,000-$310,000 annually, depending on experience. A discretionary bonus may also be available based on performance. This role is also eligible for the following firm benefits: medical insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, voluntary insurance including vision, 401(k) plan, and paid time off.
