FTE Status: Full-Time 1.00 FTE (40 hours/week)
Work Schedule: Days- Mon-Friday, flexible hours between 5:00am-6:00pm, no weekends or holidays

Job Description:
Responsible for billing and resolving primary and secondary claims for a variety of health system services. Ensures all paper and electronic claims are submitted in a timely and accurate manner in compliance with all payer regulations. Follow-up on unpaid claims and first pass denials including but not limited to, eligibility and missing information by contacting insurance companies, patients, and/or employers to resolve obstacles preventing account resolution and payment. Must be able to multi-task, prioritize as necessary to timely resolve accounts for payment, and maintain a high level of professionalism when communicating with payers and patients on a daily basis. Candidate must demonstrate proficient use of web-based client payer portals along Epic billing modules, be detail-oriented and possess the ability to problem solve.
Qualifications:
High school diploma and Associate or Bachelor's degree in business, health care business administration, or medical-related field preferred.
Minimum of one to two years insurance/medical billing office experience or an Associate or Bachelor's degree in a business or medical related field required.
