This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and credentials.

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to fully understand clients' mental health needs, crafting individualized treatment plans that promote client engagement and progress.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, groups, and families, employing a variety of techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused therapy, tailored to the needs of your clients.
• Collaborate diligently with case managers, psychiatrists, and other mental health professionals to ensure coordinated care, sharing insights that contribute to a comprehensive understanding of each client’s situation.
• Deliver crisis intervention strategies and engage clients experiencing acute distress with empathy and skill, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Participate in community outreach programs and educational initiatives aimed at promoting mental health awareness and destigmatization efforts.

As a Mental Health Counselor at Greene Health, you will work with a diverse client base predominantly including children and adolescents within school settings as well as their families. You will be addressing a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, behavioral disorders, and trauma, providing culturally competent care to help individuals navigate their unique experiences.

• A valid, independent license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• Completion of a master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport and establishing therapeutic relationships with individuals from varied backgrounds.
• Demonstrated cultural competence, with an ability to work effectively alongside clients of diverse ethnicities, cultures, and socioeconomic statuses.
• Strong organizational skills, with experience in maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with ethical standards.

• Experience working within school settings or with youth populations is highly desirable.
• Previous involvement in crisis intervention and the application of trauma-informed care approaches.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and teletherapy platforms.
