Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth assessments to identify clients' mental health challenges and strengths, forming a foundation for personalized treatment plans.
• Deliver high-quality therapy sessions to individuals, couples, and families, employing a variety of therapeutic modalities tailored to each client's circumstances.
• Encourage and guide clients to set attainable mental health goals and collaborate closely with them to monitor progress.
• Maintain confidential and thorough client records, adhering to ethical standards while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Actively participate in regular team meetings to share insights, discuss case management, and enhance interprofessional collaboration.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients come from diverse backgrounds, including various age groups, cultural identities, and socioeconomic statuses. You will work with individuals facing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and more. Your ability to forge meaningful connections and provide culturally competent care will significantly impact their therapeutic journey.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
• An active Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) license in Vermont is mandatory for this role.
• Demonstrated experience in individual and/or group therapy settings, with a strong ability to work with clients from all backgrounds.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that foster trust and facilitate open dialogue with clients.
• Adeptness in utilizing telehealth platforms and technologies to deliver effective remote therapy.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of direct clinical experience in a similar mental health counseling role.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy.

Compensation and Benefits
