We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) to join our expanding team at Actualized Self Therapy. This position is fully remote, allowing for a flexible work environment that supports work-life balance. The role entails providing care to a variety of clients, including individuals, couples, and families, while also collaborating with other mental health professionals when necessary.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand client needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Facilitate therapy sessions utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based approaches.
• Assist clients in articulating personal goals and tracking their progress toward achieving these milestones.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay abreast of the latest trends and best practices in mental health counseling.

As an LCMHC with Actualized Self Therapy, you will engage with a diverse clientele, including individuals from various ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds. The clinic focuses on serving those who may face barriers to accessing traditional mental health services. Clients may present with a wide range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and life transitions.

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related mental health field.
• Active LCMHC license in Vermont or eligibility for licensure.
• Demonstrated experience working with diverse populations and addressing varying mental health needs.
• Strong proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic practices to optimize client care.
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills that foster trust and collaboration with clients.
• A capacity for both independent work and effective teamwork in a remote setting.

• At least two years of post-master’s experience in a clinical setting.
• Experience utilizing telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems.
• Background working with specialized populations, such as veterans, LGBTQ+ individuals, or those with trauma histories.

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
