This role is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility while maintaining a strong connection to our outpatient office in Issaquah, Washington. You will collaborate with a diverse team of professionals and engage in ongoing training and development to ensure our services reflect the latest advancements in mental health treatment. • Conduct initial interviews and comprehensive assessments of clients to establish a clear understanding of their mental health needs.
• Regularly evaluate client progress by gathering and synthesizing bio-psychosocial information from various stakeholders, including clients, their families, and other professionals involved in their care.
• Exhibit a robust understanding of current best practices in chemical dependency treatment, demonstrating the necessary skills, knowledge, and professional attitudes to facilitate effective therapy sessions.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic methodologies and modalities that are evidence-based, adaptive, and tailored to each client’s unique circumstances and cultural background.
• Provide continual support and resources to clients, exploring avenues beyond traditional therapy to enhance their recovery journey.
• Participate in regular team meetings, bringing forth case discussions and collaborating on cross-disciplinary care plans to ensure comprehensive treatment.

You will work primarily with diverse populations experiencing challenges related to chemical dependency and co-occurring mental health disorders. Our clients range from adolescents to seniors, many of whom require culturally competent care that respects their individual backgrounds and life experiences. As a counselor, you will play a critical role in fostering therapeutic relationships that empower clients to navigate their recovery paths.

• A Master's Degree in Social Services, Social Sciences, or a closely related field is required.
• Two years of direct experience in therapy, specifically within mental health and/or addiction treatment settings.
• Valid Washington State licensure as an LMHC, LICSW, or LMFT is a prerequisite.
• Demonstrated respect for confidentiality and ethical handling of sensitive client information.
• Proficiency in both written and verbal communication, enabling clear interaction with clients, families, and colleagues.
• A commitment to maintaining a drug-free environment and adhering to professional conduct standards.

• Experience working with a wide range of client demographics, particularly those from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
• Familiarity with integrated care models and the ability to effectively collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of community resources and programmatic support for individuals with mental health and substance use disorders.
